MISSION STATEMENT

Every CEO started at the bottom, from working their way into the room to staying in the room. Internship to employee; student to CEO. The Rucker University Entrepreneurship Course exists to provide students with the key elements and instruction necessary for an entrepreneur to expand beyond basic skills. Created and led by Al Rucker, the course follows a 10-week syllabus as students meet once a week via webinar.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

THE PATHWAY TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP

No entrepreneur can call themselves one without a) direction; and b) preparation. The first week off the course outlines the planning stages, taking ideas and visualizing them on paper. Week one centers around outlining goals and addressing the tools you will need along the way. Pulling items out of your life for motivation is key. Placing them front and center is one of the first steps to achieving the plan you set out for yourself.

BECOMING YOUR BUSINESS

Study those who have succeeded in your craft. What stood out about your idols and the individuals in your field who took an idea and ran with it? No matter the topic, situation or circumstance, you know who the titans in your field are. Becoming your business is about the desire within to change your circumstance. To desire a new reality for yourself.

The moment you establish an idea, you begin thinking about sustainability. Can this endeavor help others? Can it last beyond a week, a month, a year?
